Table of Contents

Hello friends. We at Gita Quest are here to discover our best friend, true guide and the most valuable asset of our life -'Bhagavad Gita'.

Solutions from Bhagavad Gita

Now, we will see what solution Gita provides us at this point. It's necessary to understand one thing at this point that due to the present scenario of competition, neither we are ready for any kind of proper relationships nor we get any person who is trained for it. So, we have to train ourselves for it and therefore we need the guidance of Bhagwad Gita.

It's mentioned in the Gita that if a person starts moving towards 'Sattva Guna' or goodness and if we leave our self centredness, then we can develop the nature of having a proper relationship.

Gita guides us to develop a broader perspective towards life through any positive means. Though it is a service to nature by taking its care, or by contributing towards society by good means. But, one has to leave such self centred nature and has to start accepting everyone.

Relationships are about exchanging love, compassion, thoughts, respect etc… It's a moral and emotional bond which needs lots of understanding from both sides to sustain. Establishment is easy but maintenance is always difficult. Whether it be fame, money, success or relationship.

In Gita, Shri Krishna states …

मयि चानन्ययोगेन भक्तिरव्यभिचारिणी । विविक्तदेशसेवित्वमरतिर्जनसंसदि ॥ ११ ॥

mayi cānanya-yogena bhaktir avyabhicāriṇī vivikta-deśa-sevitvam aratir jana-saṁsadi
- BG 13.11

Shri Krishna guides that one should have such a spiritual life so that one can live a satisfying life. If one has a spiritual foundation, then a certain period of solitude becomes a positive medium of introspection or spiritual aid.

Also, family, relatives and such bonds are considered as Bandhan or Bondage. But still, if one cultivates himself spiritually then he can learn how to take care of relationships, will develop a broader and positive perspective and will definitely contribute to society.

Lastly, Bhagavad Gita also talks about the spiritual association. If one has a relationship with a person who is already spiritually strong then the relationships always become stronger.

In Bhagavad Gita it's mentioned…

मच्च‍ित्ता मद्ग‍तप्राणा बोधयन्त: परस्परम् ।
कथयन्तश्च मां नित्यं तुष्यन्ति च रमन्ति च ॥ ९ ॥

mac-cittā mad-gata-prāṇā bodhayantaḥ parasparam kathayantaś ca māṁ nityaṁ tuṣyanti ca ramanti ca
- BG 10.9

This means when two people possessing similar mindsets together, they develop strong spiritual association and they can have free-minded discussions in life.

In conclusion, we can say that selfishness will always ruin a person's life. Therefore, it's necessary to have a selfless nature in any kind of relationship.

To develop spiritually in life play's role in every relationship. Therefore, associating with spiritually developed people is very beneficial.

Communication is very necessary for every relationship. So, once we communicate properly, we develop our bond and by such techniques, our society can definitely overcome the problem of loneliness.
